"What happens to a man or woman who cannot find an employer willing to give them a second chance, is refused TANF benefits, cannot receive subsidized housing, educational or medical assistance? We have seen over and over again that they return to prison. An estimated 60% re-offend within 18 months of release from supervision. Neighborhoods across the nation are absorbing the economic and social cost of reintegrating hundreds of thousands of ex -offenders back into society each year. It is time to break that cycle."
"In that vein, I introduced the Public Safety Ex-Offender Self-Sufficiency Act which is designed to provide structured living arrangements for ex-offenders as they return home, an arrangement that is not designed to cost taxpayers a great deal of money. We use a creative approach to financing by creating a model like the low-income-housing tax credit program, where instead of credits on the basis of population, that we provide credits on the basis of the number of ex-offenders in a State."
"Private developers are encouraged to develop housing. This bill calls for the development of 100,000 units over the next 5 years, the idea being that corporations who do this will get the benefit of their resource back within a 10-year period. They must hold the facilities at least for 15 years. Individuals will then have a place to live, a place to go, where they can also receive education, job training, skill development, counseling for whatever their social or physical-medical problems may be, as well as health care and assistance with job placement."
"If America is to become the Nation that it has the potential of being, then we must seriously address the problems, needs, hopes, and aspirations of all our citizens, and even those who are mired down at the bottom. Failure to do so has repercussions for every American."
"I believe in the theory and the concept that a rising tide should lift all boats; and I am confident that as we lift and improve the lives of those at the bottom, as we help the American dream become more of a reality for all of our citizens, then America becomes that Nation that Langston Hughes talked about when he suggested that we ought to let America be America again, the land that it has never been, but yet must be."

THANKS DAMIAN... YOU ARE A TRUE TROOPER FOR THE CAUSE. OUR TIME HAS COME... WE CAN MOVE THIS NATION TO OPEN THEIR EYES AND SEE THE TRUTH. WE ARE A CORRUPT NATION.... BUT WE THE REAL PEOPLE CAN MAKE IT BETTER.

Now that we have posted my DATELINE appearance... guess what? UCLA and a number of other organizations that I worked for are pitching a gripe that I not use their names in my DATELINE interview. Ummm I think it is kinda late for that don't you think?
Here I was doing a great job and once they found out that I was an ex-offender I was rapidly terminated.
Ya think they are trying to prevent my interview because they will look like idiots?
Maybe because they failed to perform a background check as required for such high level positions.
Since I have received no court order to cease... I will fight on and talk about what REALLY happened.
Seems to me like someone DON'T want the truth to be told. What do they have to hide....?

See, when you come into this realm making accusations, it's best to present only the facts. Ad hominem attack truly doesn't help your case at all.
From the onset, you're showing signs of being a rather unstable individual by digging up a blog from nearly three years ago. Fred must matter quite a bit to you as you cannot seem to let him go. You also fail to show what it is that has you so invested in him.
That crack about his lovelife was rather pathetic at best as well as filed under the business title of "Nunya" but I'll tell you what...why not share yours as well?
